Hi This weekend is Irene hurricane time...It's massive...evacuations from Mass to Carolinas. But I want to tell you a Hummingbird tidbit...the other day around lunchtime the hummers were flying around quite erratically - six to eight of them on the scene at once, then approximately an hour later we were shook by that 5.8 earthquate centered in VA & felt from Canada to the Carolinas. I've heard numerous times that animals sense quates before they happen.

(3) Great-grandma to four boys and three girls. (4) As you can see by my blog I am new to blogging and techie challenged...just blundering along and learning as I go. Some of you have wonderful colorful blogs...I'm envious!!! But my love of cardmaking and crafts drives me onward. (5) Enjoy reading mysteries and listening to classic rock. (6) Live in a great area of PA... Gettysburg Battlefield is to the west. Lancaster county ( land of the amish, all sorts of crafts, great PA Dutch food) to the east. Have to mention TMI to the north - not so good. (7) I am so fascinated with those beautiful tiny creatures, the hummingbirds. They are amazing!! They entertain in our area from May 'til middle of Sept. Alas, we have only one species - Ruby-Throated hummer! (8) To end...my grandparents dated by horse and buggy...I grew up in the industrial era and am now living in the information age...what amazing transitions.
